A CV needs to do at least some amount of damage with their planes. If they do not, it results in an Unsporting Penalty.

At some point during a match, a CV players needs to do some damage to an enemy ship.

There is a combination of two issues:

Trolling

Some players dislike CVs enough to troll in them repeatedly. This typically results in yolo'ing the hull forward and dying while doing no plane damage because they just wanted to grief their team. In the case of a literally 0 Damage Done By Planes game, this does flag in our system.

Expectation of Play

Accuracy

CVs are a very accurate ship type in that they guide their attacks all the way to an enemy. While enemies can successfully dodge those attacks depending on the situation, there is absolutely an expectation of doing more than 1 Damage from planes to an enemy ship over the course of a many minute match.

Damage Expectation

One of the oft brought up points by Anti-CV players is that "CVs do too much damage", especially because the class can play safely in the back. As Carriers perform at or above Battleship damage numbers in general, having a CV that decides only to spot can result in a significant loss of momentum for their team.

Spotting can lead to very impactful plays, but in general there is a baseline expectation from each ship on the team.

Tier 4 CVs are very slow and deal very little damage. That is how it must be to allow players a slower-paced environment to allow them to learn in.

It's understandable that players will need time to learn a class that has a different control scheme and the Penalty doesn't stop a player from being able to try again in Co-Op while learning.

As a CM, people send me Customer Support Ticket information that shows players griefing or otherwise violating EULA. What I described does happen, but we action it and make it stop.

Submarines are still in testing so some strangeness is to be expected.

Carriers are uniquely capable in being able to find a target and strike it. There is an expectation that over a many minute match that a Carrier will, at some point, attack and hit at least one enemy one time.

A bottom-tiered Tier 6 Carrier would expect to see other Tier 6 and 7 ships that it can interact with. Tier 8 ships are still strikable, though likely for a poor plane-to-damage exchange rate.

Even Tier 8 ships should not typically prevent a Tier 6 CV from doing even 1 point of damage to an enemy ship with their planes.

Customer Support is likely referring to an Unsporting Penalties that arose from leaving the game early. While it may be due to a hardware issue, the other players in the game are still down a teammate.

The second reply is saying they will remove the recorded Warnings when your hardware meets the game requirements (to prevent further issues from occurring).
