This is an older video with the old-style rockets, but it's a walk-through of all the different weapon types and how to use the CV.

How many planes do you expect you would have to lose to do 1 point of damage?

I do understand the power of grouped up Tier 8 against a Tier 6 CV, but you should expect to see other Tier 6 Ships if your CV is in that match.

I recognize that CV is harder than people give it credit for as I've spent time teaching people that are completely new to them and the game. However, I don't believe there's any real expectation of losing some 40-50 planes in a vain attempt to deal 1 single point of damage.
