Tickets absolutely do matter. We can't share what we do when we issue sanctions, but every sanction from a Ticket allows for the next to be escalated if the problem persists!

For Intentionally Throwing/Griefing (note: playing poorly happens to us all, this is for actively not-ok behaviors): https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wows/help/31336/31337/31345/31346/

I can personally speak to this. The Replays are viewed and actions are taken.

It's taken some work to restore confidence in Customer Support Tickets as many players used to believe they did nothing. As those concerns have been addressed, we've seen players that are more willing to make Tickets and bad behavior sanctions being able to be escalated to heavy or permanent results. Customer Support Tickets help us make the game better <3

Our company is headquartered in the EU so we follow GDPR. You can learn more about that here if you'd like: https://gdpr.eu/

In short, the information between the player and us is private, so we do not share details about actions taken. This choice is larger than personal preference and attempted deterence value.

I continue to encourage players to make Customer Support Tickets so problems can be escalated and dealt with. If there is something particularly egregious, please let me know the Customer Support Ticket number.

I'm not sure what you're referring to here? Can you send me a link to what you're talking about?

Customer Support Ticketing bad behavior is absolutely important for lessening that bad behavior in the game.

A single player that rages in chat could play 10 games in a night and impact 23 x 10 = 230 other players with their behavior in a single play session. Creating a Customer Support Ticket will see the issue checked, verified, and addressed. Infractions to the rules rarely escalate to Permanent statuses, but it starts the journey if that's where it ultimately has to go or hastens the process if it's already started. That and 230+ people a night don't have to read/block some raging person in chat.

Same issue with people that intentionally throw Ranked matches or try to intentionally ruin the game experience of others. Customer Support Tickets get those issues logged, addressed, and escalated if they continue.

On my "Hello, I'm Ahskance!" post after I was announced as a CM, someone posted that I was already forged in the fires of hate from being a CV player~
