Please understand that swearing excessively is a problem both on the forum and in our game. There are games that can be extremely hard to handle, but try to keep it to swearing at your monitor instead of typing it out so everyone has to "hear" it.

It really is very hard to deal with a Sub in a CV, but you do load into a game with teammates and hopefully you can find positions which can keep them at arms length enough to help fend of a sub that tries to hunt in the backline.

I'll check both of these out and see if there's any assistance I can offer.

No, only the action of being Detected. When a CV hull is lists as detected, the CAP activates (if it's not already activated). CAP lasts 10 minutes, so a brief detection from up to 10 minutes prior can have them deployed still.

Carrier DCP is automatic and not in the hands of the player. It will automatically activate under any fire/flood/ping/module break condition. The hull does not have to be spotted for that to happen.

I does seem that the system has an expectation of doing at least some ship-based damage. I've seen this also reported as happening to some Co-Op players in CV that end the match with no damage.

As to turning pink, it's not a concern in an account level sense since it's more of a notification to the player that they went AFK or had a strange enough match to trip our system.

As to the loss of rewards, I'm not exactly sure what to say to that. Perhaps the OP could contact Customer Support to see if there's an amount they could be credited? I don't have detailed information on what that would look like, though I do have to believe that situation is rare enough to be fairly fringe-case, at least.

If DCP comes off cooldown and there is any active Fire/Flood/Module Incap/Ping condition, then it will automatically activate.

Automated DCP is nice in some ways, and a hinderance in others. Not being able to control when you use your DCP is actually a weakness for a Carrier, though the long duration typically does a lot to cover that weakness.

I have a video that explains that.

I try to get out information. Hopefully they help!

Bombs are still the correct choice as the sub was the one spotting the CV. It would need to come to Periscope Depth to re-spot the ship. While bombs may not have enough penetration under the water to hit all of Periscope Depth, they are exceptional at lingering over targets and keeping the area lit for ASW attacks from the nearby battleships. Also, Bombs actually can be expected to do something against a sub whereas Torpedo planes cannot.

As the sub in the video was located early on in B, the CV has the ability to use Patrol Planes and active play to linger over the areas where the sub is or is suspected to be.

Every time the Sub moves to Periscope Depth to try to get information, the planes will run down the Depth Timer at an accelerated rate. Depth Time does run out and eventually the Sub will be forced to surface where it can be bombed and shot by teammates.

The best thing you can do is give me actual examples. It's really easy to get way involved in theory-crafting how hard something can be to deal with. Actual examples often include a variety of mistakes or moments that can be seized upon. Try to provide replays that show the issues and we can example them together.
