She'll be good at that. Her Fighters deploy in groups of 8, and they're rather tanky to boot!

You really won't need to grab any Fighter talents in the Commander Skills list if you're only looking to trap the planes from a Bot CV. They usually just fly in a straight line, so you can drop your Fighters ahead of them and take them out. I might suggest the 1 point Talent for +10% Patrol Range, though.

I definitely suggest avoiding "Interceptor" so you can use your Fighters to help shoot down the enemy CV's Fighters for even more planes kills. They only drop in groups of 3 planes at Tier 6 (so people can learn what they do without being overwhelmed), but every ribbon counts <3 And maybe the enemy Bot will have a Bearn with the 8 Fighter drops!

@Taylor3006 You really want the 4-point skill on the bottom right. That gives 5% more speed to both of your plane types. Super useful!

Easiest thing to do is just not pick all 21.

It sounds like you're new to CVs, so just consider going for the build I posted and leave the other points unspent. As you play them, you'll start to feel out what skills look interesting/exciting to have, then you'll be making a more informed decision and be happy with what ya get!

Normal Fighters are extremely weak to AA. They have a rather poor amount of health, so they can be whittled down by even low-AA surface ships.

Bearn's Fighters are much strudier, so they can actively tank some incoming AA. It's part of her Air Superiority design~

Taylor was asking about a Co-Op Anti-Fighter build for getting ribbons.

In the early game, yes the bots aren't in the center so you can catch some planes. But after a minute or two, the Cruisers and Battleships will shoot down fighters that are trying to trap planes since those ships have moved up. You have to wait a few minutes before you space between the CV Hull and rear-most Battleship's AA for normal Fighters to not be shot down. A lot of Co-Op is over with quickly, so that's not always an option.

Since the Bearn has tankier Fighters, her planes last longer and can intercept more consistently for Taylor's purpose.
