As a company, we don't want to make a habit of stepping in and choosing successors for clans. This isn't about politics in your case, but this is to avoid being contacted by XOs that are looking to perform a takeover of a clan's management structure and using Customer Support to do it.

Please also understand that Customer Support has very direct limitations over what they can and cannot do, so please don't take their explanation that it's outside their power to be something nefarious.

Um... please reach out to me in Direct Messages with as much proof as you can muster that your Commander has passed away. Also, I'd need your Clan Leadership to reach out to me to let me know who they would want elevated to a leadership position.

If that information can be confirmed, and ALL of your Leadership is in agreement, I will speak with my bosses to see if this can dealt with. I can't make promises, but if I have all the information listed above I think I can try to see this matter settled.

We are not in the office until Tuesday, so please understand this may take some time.

The formal policy was stated earlier in the thread. Basically, we don't want to become the arbiters of who gets promoted or not.

I'll try to see if I can think up something? This one is a pretty niche thing.

Update: After receiving information corroborating the passing of the clan's Commander, and receiving the unanimous decision from the entire available Leadership structure of this clan, the Commander position has been moved to the requested player @skippy_versys

We are going to work on an internal policy to handle rare situations like this for the future.

There is no current policy which operates in that fashion.
