Ah, sorry. No stream tonight :(

Boggzy actually answered this question yesterday!

Normally our stream stuff (notifications and numbers and such) is handled by a gentleman in the office, but he's on extended vacation so I guess the schedule was not updated :(

We are intended to be back to normal next week, though!

Sorry, folks!
I saw that the Twitch Schedule reflected our absence over the break and deduced that I would have to actively schedule a new stream for the 12th. I didn't realize that it had already repopulated the schedule for this week even when we had not actively scheduled a stream.
We'll be back next week for you all to hoover up the community points!

If you check the stream schedule there are multiple streams in multiple languages throughout the week - you don't have to interact - merely leave the stream up to collect the tokens

We missed you too!

Thanks for you recommendation!
I didn't pull it off the schedule because I thought it was off by default. Human error.
We'll see you next week for all the community tokens you could ask for.

A "Recommended" post is just something that's easier to see for someone jumping into the thread.

You were asking where the Twitch stream was. Unfortunately, there isn't one this week as we're back from a long break and are playing catch-up in the office.

Boggzy did mention that yesterday. Also, he stated above that as we didn't set the schedule to happen, it was assumed that it wasn't a thing to be checked. In the end, we were wrong about that.

I responded to you with the information requested, and then I recommended the post to heighten the awareness of that answer. You asked a question and got a response. Several, actually.

I'm sorry you haven't had streams in two weeks to visit and get your drops from. Last week was a holiday for our entire office, and this week has been a big backlog of playing catch-up. Yesterday was a 15 hour day for me personally, so I assure you we're working very hard to get back in the swing of things to resume our regularly scheduled program.

I'll see if I can kick this around and get back to you on it. Drop me an @Ahskancetomorrow around 2pm if you can. I should have enough time to have an answer of some sort by then.

No, all that stuff is set up ahead of time. It may very well cycle automatically in Twitch's system, which could be why drops looked available despite not having streams in which to give them out.

@iamSamothdid have a good point about our ability to do a Rerun if we're not available, or to have a pre-recorded show ready for breaks or emergencies. That's definitely a suggestion worth looking at.

OK, I have a more fully formed response to your post. I took awhile for me to grasp it all and look into the matter deeper (yesterday I was running on way too little sleep).

----------

Our scheduling issue was an automation problem. We have streams automated to schedule themselves according to our normal timeslots. One of our guys in the office typically deals with the Twitch setup/backend and he's on some extra vacation post-holidays, so this one slipped by Boggzy and I. As it's normally handled by someone else, it wasn't "on our plates" normally and got missed.

Sorry about that.

In response, we've done some cross-training in the office so that we have several people now that are familiar with the system and have the ability to access/modify it in case of emergencies or holidays. This redundancy should go a long way to helping avoid this situation occurring again.

---

As for the Reruns or recording like... a general few hours of stream that we could use in the event of an emergency or holiday, that actually defeats the purpose of the stream. At its core, our Community Time is quite literally about that... our time to be with our Community. Using a Rerun or Canned Episode wouldn't be achieving that goal.

We'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week, and we look forward to seeing you there.
