There's a new Holiday Activity up on the News Portal:

https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/general-news/holiday-tree-collect-all-the-gifts/

Some folks have had some questions, so I'm here to explain!

First thing first, Click the Participate Button to opt in~

After Clicking, you should see...

Next! Where are the Missions?!

They're are on Tree <3 Click an Ornament to find one:

Note the bottom of the Mission. "Ends in:" means it's currently running. Some missions haven't started yet~

Note the "Starts in"!

---

So, where's the Loot?!

There are three options~

1) Normal Reward - Do the Thing and Get the Thing!
2) Random Giveaway - Folks that got the Normal Reward have a chance to win something else!
3) Competitive Mission - Be THE BEST at doing the Thing and Get a Super Special Thing!

*"Any Ship" has some restrictions, so that "nobody can get this one-of-a-kind thing"... probably isn't available :( But there's a lot of good stuff that is, so aim high because Good Stuff abounds!

---

So WHERE'S THE LOOT?!? I Did the Thing... where's my Reward?

Hoooold up thar partner~ This is a Web Portal campaign, so there's going to have to be Backend System Stuff that Santa's going to have to do. It's a lot of FedEx Label making :\

So, the event finished late December, and the Gifts/Rewards should be sent out after the Computer Peoples do Computer Things and make Computer Stuff happen!

---

Lemme know if this helped out~

Portal Campaigns are to help folks know to pay attention to/interact with News stuff. It's a big way we put out information, so it's good to have people that know how to find it.

That's tracked behind the scenes. So if you've done the thing as far as you care to do it, you should be good~

The event was designed to drive Portal engagement (people going to the website to click on/interact with the tree).

Unfortunately, while the system retains your information because you clicked "Participate", it's not something the Portal dynamically undates and displays.

We've heard a lot of concerns regarding that, so the folks upstairs are working on a way to clear up the confusion so the Tree is easier to enjoy as the fun event she's intended to be.
