[2023] Trouble in the Hot Tub - A Mystery Unfolds

Hey Captains!
So I was playing some Trouble in the Hot Tub (one of my favorite games modes EVER, btw) and I noticed a few things that got me...thinking.
First, does anyone recongnize the symbols on some of these flags hanging over the tub? I feel like I have seen some of them before, but I can't put my finger on it.

Second, I noticed there was some strange patters/symbols displayed on the TV, and I just can't make heads or tails of it.

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on here?
