As for the stuff ya got, the official message I've got that sums it up is:
All players who agreed to receive WG emails and didn't set their birthday in the account settings received birthday gifts on the 1st of January since due to technical issues the system considered this date as their birthday.
The issue will be fixed and won't reoccur next year. All currently received birthday rewards will remain on the players' accounts unless you want to receive them on another date. In case you want to receive birthday gifts this year on another date, please contact our customer support.

So if you think the Coupon is cool and would rather have that moved to a different date (like your actual birthday or some other date of significance to you), please send Customer Support a Ticket and they can get things shifted around for you. Otherwise, welcome home!
