1) Should contest submission designs stop at the waterline?
A. No, it shouldn't
2) Should contest submissions use no more than 4 colors on the ship?
A. No, it shouldn't
3) Overall is there a definitive answer as to whether the contest designs will be implemented some way that will cause restrictions?
A. Steam Logo is not allowed, that's probably it
4) Is the goal to design a camo ONLY for the ship currently shown, or a generic one for all T7 BBs? If it's for all T7 tech-tree BBs, can you update the article for clarity?
A. The list of ships available: Colorado, King George V, Gneisenau, Prinz Heinrich, Francesco Caracciolo, Sinop, Lyon, Nagato. We will update the article tomorrow!
5) Is "Steam-themed" the Valve gaming platform, "steampunk", or anything you can think of related to "steam" as a concept?
- If Steam as in Valve, doesn't that intrinsically break the contest rules?
- If we're ignoring the "not based on any existing IP" part it would probably be wise to heavily emphasize "do not use existing Steam logo / branding" in the article or you're going to have to throw a lot of entries out.
A. Steam themed = Valve's Steam. They shouldn't use any logos though, yeah.
