One thing I've noticed is that the traits inherited from parents are no longer as random as in the previous version of the game, and I'm talking about first-generation individuals. I'll give some examples:

Human verification

I put two humans in a world and filled them with good traits, without making any genetic changes. Then I waited for them to mate and, as you can see, one of the children inherited this order of traits, which would be great if it didn't repeat itself in all the children of the couple.

Another child (yes, it's the same one who received a gift from dad in my other post

Looking at the traits, did you notice any similarities? That's right, the same traits, and this order goes up to the "Honest" trait, potentially with just one new trait after it, always in that order.

After that, I did the test with another race, the elves.

Now with the elves, there were changes (due to their base traits)

Changes only in the first few traits, and I didn't take screenshots of the other children because they follow the same logic. After the "Honest" trait, only one random trait appears in some individuals.

After that, I was curious to check the subspecies alteration that makes children inherit all the traits of their parents, and it actually works, and even too well, if you want the next generations to be OP (which wasn't my case).

This one was born from that genetic alteration (and also received a gift from dad)

The point I'm trying to make with all of this is that children should really have a chance to RANDOMLY inherit their parents' traits again, with some being luckier and inheriting many, and others being unlucky. I'm not saying to remove the genetics that cause them to inherit traits, I'm just asking for that randomness to return to the traits that aren't specific to the species, because right now that part is completely predictable.

And sorry for any grammatical errors.

Can you check how many mutagenic genes they have?
