Will there be new feats, mythic feats, spells, etc... in addition to the 11 new archetypes and the new weapon type, in the 6th DLC or the update (like there was for DLC 5) ?
I need to know in order to decide to begin or not a game before the DLC launch.

No mythic feats, but new feats and spells - certainly so!

Some of the initial talk sounds like the events in the DLC actually happen AFTER Threshold... making this a post-game story, or an epilogue chapter.

So, if that's true, and we do the Ascension ending, we're a newly-minted demigod schleping about in Kenabres?

It takes place before Threshold.

I forgot to ask, will the new weapon type appear exclusively in Act V during the DLC, or will it be added to the main game retroactively in some way like fixed uniques in vendors or generic versions placed on enemies and in the loot table?

Across the whole game, with one of the new archetypes focused on this new weapon.

Oh this looks fantastic! Can we expect to see rebalancing and class changes for the Dragonblood Shifter leading up to this DLC release?

Yup, some changes and improvements are planned!

Does this also include PS4, because it was kinda annoying for the frame rate to drop.

Maybe some, but we're pretty close to the limits of the hardware on PS4, that's why we've released a PS5 version :(

Thanks very much. And we have no reason to believe that DLC 6 will change DLC 2 and 5 right?

It won't affect DLC2 and 5 in any way.

Does this mean we'll have to start a new playthrough to see the content?

As long as you haven't entered Threshold yet, you should be fine.

Hm... but is there alternate way? As I have accumulated a big amount of bug cases which may not be relevant to my current save. Around 70% of them are wrong conditions/cues in dialogues or item malfunctions, but still. It's a big enough list.

You can compile a file, upload it to google docs and PM me a link. I'll pass it to the QA team.

So is this going to be like Last Sarkorian/Midnight Isles with it being an addition to the main story line, or is this a standalone story i.e. Through the Ashes/Lord of Nothing?

It's fully integrated into the main story similar to the Last Sarkorians.

Not to rain on your parade but the way I interpreted that was it was exclusive for the new weapon they mention just before, rather than being a feature retroactively added to existing weapons.

Edit: Potential good news, just seen a comment from Starrok on another post where they say that they think it's a new feature for all weapons.

It's definitely a global new feature :) And in fact, the new weapon is a new weapon TYPE, to be precise. Sorry for the confusion!

Will respeccing a character be improved so we can re-select the feats unlocked by a previous mythic path before a path switch?

If I remember correctly, going Trickster, unlocking and taking the path specific feats (criticals) then switching to another mythic and respeccing locks us out (as well as companions) of taking these again.

Darn shame there is no other way to get them as well.

And will there be new unlocks for future playthroughs after completing the dlc?

I don't think any changes to the respec system are planned. Also since the DLC takes place directly during the main campaign, everything including all rewards is fully integrated into the playthrough.

I just got confused. Does this DLC only include companions who are romanceable? So no Regill , Nenio, or Woljif? :(

Of course not, all the main companions are represented including Aivu. All the romance scenes are only for the romanceable characters though.

Now that DLC6 is almost here can you guys sticky a dedicated bug compilation thread so we can crowdsource issues to report before support stops? I'd rather stuff like critical feats not counting towards critical mastery and chant saying it works with protective luck when it doesn't not still be there in the final build of the game.

We might do something similar after the big 2.3 patch lands.

At this point though, the most effective way is to report bugs in-game via ALT+B. As the game gets cleaner (and well, older) over time, the flow of reports becomes more manageable, so the reaction on them gets quicker. Plus, there are a few active community members working in close cooperation with the QA team, highlighting mechanical issues that still remain.

Hi Starrok, can you specify a way to get into DLC? Is it location I have to go to manually or can I load my save as for Inevitable Excess? What I mean is, I have only left one save from a playthrough, in threshold right before last battle and I don't think I can go back to the world map from there.

It will pop up as an event, summoning you to the festivities, as far as I know.
