To be frank, OP's stance is more likely to result in death having heavy penalties again than it is to have TFP change the new debuffs- Because OP's stance is even more fuel onto the "XYZ dont matter because i can just die and respawn with no punishment" fire.
Also...Not 'intuitively added'? Really? What would you consider intuitive for getting injured when you're injured? Take a long fall and sprain or break your leg. Get smacked by a blade trap and get a laceration. Get bashed over the head by a zombie and get a concussion...Seems intuitive and realistic to me.
Moreover, 1-2 hours of debuff is childs play and incredibly lenient compared to reality- It takes MONTHS to heal most of the way (80-90%) from a broken bone in real life; And technically years before that bone is back to 100%. It takes weeks just for a scratch on your body to heal, let alone giant gouges in your flesh.
2 hours in 7DTD is 2 days; So you get off easy. Moreover you can magically heal even faster by using whatever remedy the debuff calls for; Meaning you can heal even faster. Pick up Healing Factor from Fortitude, and you'll heal even faster still- You can get the debuff time down to like 15-45 minutes if you, yknow, actually tend to your injuries as expected and don't aggravate them.
