Well, its made even more confusing since I read my gun damage as 77, but when I hit zombies it sure doesnt do 77......cuz 77 on 125 hitpoints is 2 bullets no matter. But sometimes its 1 shot, down they go, other times I do like 20.

With melee, sometimes I do like 3 points, then 30, then 20, then 5, then 150......its really strange.
125 hp, 77 damage- But different parts of the body modify damage. Particularly, Limbs take MUCH less damage than the torso which takes much less damage than the head.

EG: Shooting them in the foot might do just 10% of the damage, which is 7.7 damage which to kill a zombie with 125 HP is 17 shots provided you don't get a dismemberment. Heads by contrast typically take 2-4x as much damage depending on the weapon type.

Torso shots are like 75 or 80% iirc. Generally speaking, you never want to be just shooting center mass. These are zombies; Not people. Headshots are king.

Cuz it sure isnt stacking 6 bleeds, IE: its not doing 2x6 for 12 dmg a second. Also, also, can only 1 status effect be on a zombie at once? I make them bleed when I hit them, but I also light them on fire....do those effects not stack? They dont seem to.
It is stacks of damage; Duration remains the same. And yes, you can have multiple effects on zombies at the same time. But, it's likely doing much less damage than you think due to not being headshot damage- It's getting reduced by armor/body damage reductions.
