Of note, Chopping down trees to get honey is contingent upon having the wasteland treasures book that causes it. You can otherwise only get honey from looting, or by chopping specific tree stumps.

Vitamins have been unusually abundant in Shamway crates for me, so you might target any of the Shamway buildings. That's with a late-level character that's getting the good loot, though.
