I'm missing something here. if you approach a POI, it's name and it's Tier in the amount of skulls will appear. So you know what Tier loot is there.

If you want to know where you stand on the loot table, that is in your stats.

What are you referring too?

It looks like that is basically what it is. A picture of a list of POI's that exist in each of the top tiers.
It's only really helpful if you're using the web map to search for specific POI's.
