You quite literally need to learn how to read Pinned threads before you post.

Page 1, Literally the first thread is news for A20; If OP is referring to news about A19, It is the second thread for user discussion of it, and third for official patch notes.

I don't know where you're getting your information from, But, The number of threads pinned and unpinned is rather small in actuality; Only two threads have been unpinned recently that I know of, and that was because they were about A18 which is a time past now that A19 is officially released. Things don't get unpinned for no reason.

Edit: You also seem to be under the mistaken impression that pinned threads can somehow end up several days and pages back- Pinned threads are ALWAYS at the front, and first page (Unless there are more than 15, then it takes up all of page 1 and part of page 2, same for 30+ and so on.) and have the word in big bold green letters right in front of it: "PINNED".

That's your notifications panel; It shows new messages, But does not respect 'Pinned' sorting as it always displays newest first.

To view the discussion board properly you need to look at the game in your library and click the 'Discussions' button; Or when looking at a thread(like this one) at the very top is a string of words to the effect of "7 Days to Die > General Discussions > Topic Details"; where if you click 'General Discussions' you'll be taken to the main forum board.

I'd won't blame pmr for that question, because I too find current information sources quite confusing.

For example - I, personally, wouldn't even assume finding A19 changelogs in a thread, named "A20 news". I've entered looked up at the thread, got to the last page and found no changelog posts.

Information like "just check the official forums" shouldn't be presented as "check out this thread to get a link to an external resource".
You wont find A19 patchnotes in A20 news though? You'll find it in the pinned thread named "Alpha 19 Official Release Notes" which is two down from the A20 news post.

which wasn't updated since Dec 12, 2020?
Was that just a beta branch update moved to the master branch?
Yes, that one. The latest post is marked A19.3 experimental but is the same build as the current stable, nothing changed from the experimental b6 to the stable b6. If there's missing experimental notes, lemme know and I'll pull them up. But I didn't know the A19.4 experimental was running yet.
