Nope. In most games of this nature, what you are requesting is not a feature because it's way to easy to exploit duplication methods cause by latency.

Minecraft is written in freaking Java. A lot of shortcuts were taken there, and you really can't compare it at all. I mean it's a game where holding a torch doesn't even give light because the data required to render it brings the engine to it's knees.

Also note that yes Minecraft does have duplication exploits in multiplayer as a result of this.

come on man be real its literally in just about every other survival game. Ark Conan Minecraft Atlas Citadel etc. Why does all these other games not have dupping issues with it?
I know for a fact this feature is not in Conan, and last time I checked it wasn't in Ark/Atlas either.

Perhaps looking, as in accessing the container in a ‘read only’ state while only the first user can actually exchange items, would be more feasible and resistant to exploits.
