I think the game is heavily influenced by time management, and to force a sleep schedule in at this point would necessitate a huge rebalance of basically every other facet of the game for what to me at least is no real gain.

Plus people already more or less despise other debuffs, I can't imagine one for not sleeping enough would go over well.

Ur not really going to get ruined by wasting 1 days out 6 in my opinion. But if we are trying to get the game to be realistic its kinda a must thing
I think you'd be surprised..It'd be around 2.3~ days out of every 7, if one slept like an average human. We spend, on average, around a third of our lives asleep.

Already without sleep there can be a concerning lack of time to prepare if the player is on higher difficulties and/or not abusing mechanics. And then you want to cut 2~ days out of the week? Yeah, That would have a significant impact that would necessitate a rebalance of many things. Cutting two days out of the playable week also means that horde night comes with a not inconsequential increase in frequency- It can already be difficult to obtain enough ammunition to fight it off in the later game, and there'd be two days less to do it in now...

Iuno, As i said, I just don't think the 'benefits' of implementing sleep really warrant the effort of including it. The only argument to add it is realism, but there's already a fair lack of realism; 7DTD lives in a pseudo-realistic universe where crops grow in 3 days, and people rise from the dead after world war 3. The player having mutated a lack of a need for sleep isn't too far fetched, all considered.
