Very importantly, There cannot be ANYTHING between the connection of Camera A and B. It must go

Power -> [other stuff] -> Camera A -> Camera B -> [other stuff]

There can't even be a relay between the connection of Camera A and Camera B- If anything separates the two, even a relay, the first camera instead determines whether the second camera itself functions.

Edit: To possibly clarify slightly, Essentially when the camera's are wired directly to one another they function as a unit where either can trigger things down the line- But when something separates the two, they function as two separate motion sensors, where the first camera determines if the second gets power.
