So then apologizing is for losers too, I take it? huh....

At any rate, I have always advocated for a more moderate approach to the game with having your focus be on tasks and objectives related to living and survival rather than your focus being on leveling up and stats and dps and underlying mechanics. I don't care if others play with that focus but I disagree with those who claim they are forced to play that way.

Originally posted by peon: I went to start a game the other week. I Just like to play normal, as the way the devs intended it. Noticed some weird lag around the trader, not sure if it was my computer or the game. It was skipping huge chunks of frames at a time. So one second id be somewhere, the next frame I could be 5 ft away, was really strange.

Anyway, got surprised by a zombie, got smacked a few times, got infected, got a broken leg.

I just quit out of the game, I dont know why it has to be like this. Its not fun, its gimmicky.

Same thing with sons of the forest, who wants to get smacked 2 or 3 times and die. Very unfair from the players point of view.

It doenst need to be removed, but why are devs making hard mode the default mode on their games? My guess is to draw out the game instead of just adding more content to it.

Like I said, I dont think its very fun... but to each their own?

Could it have been while the trader was closed? You get teleported a short distance away if you get too close to the trader compound after operating hours.
