I'm also sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues with your Xbox Series X controller.
Can you please ensure that all USB devices are unplugged apart from your mouse, keyboard and controller. I would also recommend going through the PC troubleshooting steps in our support article and then try launching the game again.
If the issue still persists do you have a standard mouse and keyboard that you could plug in to try and see if that makes any difference?
