Hi, recently upgraded to the new i7-12700K CPU. As you (Ubisoft) should be aware, your DRM is causing Valhalla and some of your other games to not work on Intel's 12th gen CPUs. Is there any ETA for when the fix will arrive? These CPUs launched almost a month ago and still nothing. I'll have to ask for refund if the game isn't playable for me...

Hey there @Glottiz - welcome to the Discussions forums! I am sorry to hear that you are unable to launch Assassin's Creed Valhalla due to using one of Intel's new 12th gen processors.

We are aware of a DRM issue with some of our games, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla, when running on Intel’s 12th Gen processors. We are working with Intel to produce a fix, with more information available at the following links:

On the first of the aforementioned pages, Intel has shared an official workaround. Please be aware, however, that this workaround involves modifying settings within your PC’s BIOS. Incorrect modification of BIOS settings can cause serious damage to your system, including irreparable loss of system functionality. As such, if you choose to try the workaround, to ensure the safety of your system, we strongly recommend that you contact Intel and your Hardware Manufacturer directly for assistance with completing the steps involved.

We'll keep you and all other affected players updated with regard to a formal fix here on the forums, and via our other official Ubisoft channels. Thank you for your understanding in the meantime.
