hello everyone,

this is my first post in this forum and i don’t know if it is possible to communicate in german, so sorry for my bad english.

I played valhalla about 100h+ since 2020 and experienced all that performance issues since day one. I think last year, after a few patches the game just runs perfectly on ps5. After a longer break with valhalla (about 5 month), i installed now the 1.61 patch. Also my system is up to date. So the problem: when i am going through busy places like lunden, or do an raid, i‘am often noticed some little framedrops while turning the camera. I‘am very sure that this is a new issues since I installed the new patch. I tested it on my 2 tvs (vrr compatible) and this happened on both.

is here anybody else who noticed that?

We do have a German language forum available if you would like to also post there, but your post is easy to understand!

As for the performance issue you're running into after patch 1.6.1, can you confirm if this still happens if you turn off Variable Refresh Rate and manually set it to 30 or 60 instead?

Can you also let us know what rendering resolution your console is set to, and the quality preset you play the game in?

For the purpose of our investigation, in order to isolate the Issue and in addition to the steps already performed on your end, I invite you to let us know if the problem persists after following the steps of our dedicated PS5 troubleshooting guide.

It helps solve most of the problems encountered on that platform, and is an integral part of our investigation.
