The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video3
Error occurred on GPUID: 2d00

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

Get the same error message, also only with AC Valhalla. The crashes come quite quickly every 5 to 60 minutes.
Above all, the crashes also come in menus, so no peak loads or temp problems. GPU is only at 60-80% load anyway.

Initially also had Event ID 13 and 14, but was able to intercept them with
- using XMP Profile 1 instead of 2
- Enable ReBAR in BIOS and reinstall graphics card drivers.

Event ID 0 remains.... the error that occurs is probably not documented internally, hence the event ID 0.

Tried with HAGS on/off, virus scanner deactivated, activated debug mode in the Nvidia Control Panel, power from standard to performance,
game file validation, and actually all the tips that I could find .... nothing helps. Drivers are all up to date.

MSI x570 ACE, 5900X, Zotac 3600RTX Amp, 64GB Corsair. All standard clocks. Peaks never reach 100%. Also using adaptive quality and FSR. AC Valhalla runs at 2K and 60Hz.

Still only AC Valhalla crashes, RDR2, and other heavyweights run fine. No Event ID 0 anywhere else.

I suspect this is due to ReBAR and HAGS. Something doesn't add up. AC Valhalla explicitly has ReBAR support.
That's only about two dozen games currently using this.
I only found this here: (unfortunately, I don't play any other games with ReBAR support, but maybe someone else knows more)

Examining profiles and filtering for ReBAR, 22 games out of 6638 games in the 528.02 driver have official ReBAR support:
Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Battlefield V
Borderlands 3.
Control.
Cyberpunk 2077.
Death Stranding removed in 527.56.
deathloop.
DIRT 5.

Hi @Marshmellow1969 apologies for the late response.

I am also sorry to hear that your game is crashing.

I have looked up this error online and found a post here on the Microsoft forum. One person does mention the issue is caused by HAGS and recommended disabling it, however I understand that you have already tried this. There are some other suggestions in that thread that you could try.

However, if you continue to experience this issue then please contact support on one of the following support channels and provide your system files:

Support Ticket

Our Customer Support team can then investigate this issue further.
