I own this game on PC with RTX 3070 and after several patches and 1 year post launch,it finally runs without any major issues.

I also recently got a GPD Win 3 with intel core i7-1195g7 CPU and integrated intel XE graphics.

After trying to run the game on the Win 3, I noticed some strange behaviour with the CPU and GPU utilization in this game(using MSI afterburner).

The game can run decently well at 720p and 30fps on the following settings:
1280x720 fullscreen with in game resolution scale set to 90%.
All settings low except textures and clutter set to medium.
Motion blur and depth of field enabled.

Running on the latest build of windows 11 with the latest intel drivers.

Surprisingly the system can hold 30fps with these settings and its a perfectly playable experience with a 30 fps lock, for the first 5-7 minutes or so.
After about 5 minutes of gameplay there is a bad and constant stuttering that happens only when panning the camera around.
I remember this being an issue early on with many PCs and while this behaviour has mostly been been fixed for Nvidia and AMD GPUs, unfortunately it still persists for lower powered systems with Intel GPUs.

After some troubleshooting here is what I found:
Game is using upto 14.8gb of the 16gb RAM on my system.
The stuttering begins once RAM usage goes over ~12.5-13GB.
The stuttering happens randomly and and once it begins,it is constant.
The stuttering only happens on camera movement: when new assets are not streaming into the frame, the framerate stabilizes.
-There is no particular area that seems to trigger it, nor is it tied to the CPU or GPU load (since it can happen in open areas where my GPU/CPU usage is well below 70% according to MSI afterburner)
Changing all settings to lowest possible and disabling fullscreen optimizations doesnt work.
Disabling MSI afterburner overlay doesnt work.
Running the game on a clean boot doesnt solve the issue.
The game actually uses less RAM on my Nvidia PC than on the GPD Win device(11.8-12GB vs upto 14.8GB).

It is worth mentioning that the GPD Win 3 uses LPDDR4X memory clocked at 4266MT instead of regular DDR4 RAM.
The game has been istalled on the system SSD and is patched to the latest version.
The CPU and GPU are not thermal throttling: All other games run as expected except for Assassins Creed Valhalla(and Crysis Remastered which has stuttering as well)

Hey @prism206

I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue with the game stuttering after only a few minutes of playing.

Please can you go through the steps in this article first of all, to rule out any of the most common causes.

There is also some more steps found here that can help.

If you still have issues after this, we would need to look into your system files (DX Diag and MSINFO) to get a better look at what could be the cause.

To send us the files, please reach out via support ticket / live chat or social media private message on the links below:

Hi @DJAM3R and sorry to hear you're also experiencing technical issues.

Please bear in mind that we not recommend running the game on the integrated GPU, as those are not as powerful as their external counterparts. You can find more information about this in our minimum requirements guide: https://www.ubisoft.com/help/article/000080274

Please also make sure that you've completed all the steps in our support guide here. Sometimes it's easy to miss a simple step like updating GPU drivers, so it's always worth it to go through the list one by one! 😊
