I jump off a wall so I can get to the other side and take out some boiling oil and I just get stuck in mid-air and can't move and then die?
How the hell are you going to introduce a Rogue-like mode into a game this buggy? Can you imagine getting 3/4 of the way through the Rogue-like mode and then a stupid bug like this forces you to start all over again from scratch?
