Literally tried it twice.
Saved just after aquiring it, yet before reading it, as well (to get it after the Bug is fixed).
Achievement is supposed to unlock after aquiring and reading a father's journal. It is the only campaign achievement I have left.

In order to isolate the Issue, I invite you to provide us with the following information :
Did you read the full journal ?
Are there any mods running ? If yes, does the Issue still happen after deactivating them ? If the Issue persists after the steps listed above, does the problem still happen when starting a new campaign, on another save ?
The answers to those questions will help our investigation into the matter.
