Seriously, is anyone able to play this today?

None of my friends or me for that matter can play this. Game wont launch.

I press play and nothing happens. The game shows up in task manager but after a bit simply dissapears.


Ive restarted my pc
I've checked game files
restarted uplay connect
updated every driver and windows

And it still wont work

Whats happening?
I played this game earlier today, worked fine then.

I tried this on 2 different pc's. None worked

Sorry to hear you all now appear to be facing a crash-on-launch issue.

We have not reproduced this issue on our side, so it's currently difficult to say why this is happening. Considering it is affecting multiple games, it may be an issue with Ubisoft Connect.

One of the steps listed is to re-install Ubisoft connect, which is a good suggestion in this case.

Hopefully that resolves your issue but if not, please provide your system specs and we'll discuss how best to proceed.

DirectX is still set to 11 and I used both offline and online mode, but this didn't work for me before. Using the new install.exe above somehow helped for me.
Let me know if any info regarding my exact setup-up is needed, as I'm not sure what exactly caused and resolved this issue for me.

There is also the Ubisoft Connect support article that Frascaline provided, if this is a connectivity-related issue.


@Frascaline We won't need to request anything from you at this time, but thank you for offering we'd like to first see if other players are still experiencing this issue. Launching as admin & re-installing Ubisoft Connect seem to be the best suggestions currently.
