I do not know if players were supposed to get anything or not but after the story arc The Legend of Beowulf, when you get back to Ravensthorpe you receive a letter from Abbess Wulfhilda saying ".....enclosed is a copy of the poem I have written about you for your perusual..." After reading the entire letter Eivor then mentions dialogue about the poem and how it always contains dragons but I never received any poem or anything in my inventory after that quest.

Were players ever supposed to recieve a copy of the poem written about Eivor?? or was this just a random little dialogue??

Seems weird for the letter to say they are giving us a copy of the poem but we don't actually get to know what it says.

Can anyone confirm this please?

@rjeb94 Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The mission is inspired by Beowulf, an Old English epic poem in the tradition of Germanic heroic legend. This is the poem that is being referred to in the dialogue, and whilst this is not available to read in-game, there are versions available online to read.

Hope this helps!
