My partner and I are trying to play Anno1800 together. In fact, the whole reason we bought the game is since it had multiplayer that looked really fun.
We can't connect to each other and keep getting the LR05 error message. Doesn't matter who is hosting, we live in the same house with a decent internet connection, we both bought the game through the Epic store (but the game is force booted through UC anyway) and have had no problems running the game in single player.
Only thing we can think of is that he is running Linux, booting the game through Lutris and I am running Windows 10.
Have already tried reboots, validating game files, reinstalling direct X all of that.
Is this actually possible or are we wasting our time?
