Hi all,
Did all the recommended troubleshooting fixes to no avail.
Then I saw that @MGuenny mentioned a user in the German forum discussing Citrix and its "App Protection" option impacting the ability to launch Anno.
Since I haven't needed to use Citrix for work anymore, so I uninstalled Citrix and now Anno launches!!

So give it a shot if you can, hope this helps!

Hey @viceroyvic , thanks for your post about launching Anno 1800. I understand you've been able to get the game to launch by deactivating a background program, which is something we recommend doing in our troubleshooting guide, so I'm glad to hear this has resolved the issue. Fortunately, our teams are continuing to investigate this issue on our end as well.
