Hey @simplepedant , thanks for your feedback about this. I understand you'd like to have been able to quit out of a game of Anno 1800 without saving, and I've passed your feedback about this to our teams.

In the meantime, while I understand it's a bit laborious, quitting out of the game by closing it from your task manager would not create a save file. However, please note that doing this in a game which already has a save file may result in a corrupted save, so it should only be used in games that you wish to abandon entirely.

Please let me know if you've any other thoughts or questions about this.
