[2019] Latest patch wont complete download

Hi all, When prompted to download the latest (DLC I think) patch, the download goes to 99% then transfers me to the Uplay site which has Anno 1800 download shown. When i click on "download" message states "almost there"after several seconds I get the massage (box in top right corner) saying "download failed" Says to check my internet connection which is ok and my disc space, also ok. Has this happened to anyone else? Also where you transferred to Uplay to complete the download? Want to continue to play but cant complete download.
