Welcome to the forums! Thanks for reaching out! P0PPYTAT is correct, and offers a great suggestion as well to create a duplicate save and use that dupe save to enjoy your city and then exit.

You may also be able to try and end the game via task manager. I am not sure if that would cause a "crash" or not and force it to not save.

Welcome to the forums and to Anno! We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the game. Yes, you will get a prompt similar to the one below when first loading the save after purchasing the DLC. Make sure that you select yes, as the decision is final as Brumiros stated.

Welcome to the forums! Anno 1800 is not available for Mac OS, it is Windows only. As Brumiros stated, you may want to look into Wine or Bootcamp, as those programs allow you to run a Windows OS on your Mac.

Then just copy and paste the URL of your image. This will then share your image on the forums. I will share a screenshot below of the icon you need to click on to share your image.
