So as the tile says I'd appreciate any help on how to obtain this achievement. I tried multiple times with my sail ships being attacked by Pyrphorian fleet (with frigates, SotL, shooners, cannoners and clippers), so I'd really like to know what means "burning sail ship". It related to HPs? Is it a chance for every flame attack? Better to send a ship against a flame tower?

In order to complete this achievement, could you test this:
If it doesn't work on your first try, keep trying as it should unlock the achievement for you.
Alternatively, you can also build the Pyrphorian Warship after obtaining the legendary ship specialist item Slinky Sinistra, Warlock of Pyrphorian Warships and placing it into a Harbourmaster's Office within range of your shipyard.
