I have 74million, very happy people, with all their needs attended to, but because I have an island full of industry, my money is in the negative. This is countered by my trading and selling. I make over 1 million each time a trade takes place.

I get why the money is shown as negative, as it's based on island income and outgoings, but I don't understand why the newspaper keeps publishing articles that I'm bankrupt!

The newspaper SHOULD take trades into account, rather than just looking at the negative income, that doesn't represent my ACTUAL income.

The game does have a day system, so simply have a hidden number that compares yesterday's money to today's. If today is higher than yesterday, don't make people upset for no reason.

I basically hide the newspaper now, because it doesn't do anything but annoy me.

Is there a way to remove it from the game entirely? I can turn off the pirates, and they do less damage than the newspaper.

Hey @AnD4D Welcome to the Discussions!

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you and sorry to hear that the Newspaper is killing your mood in the game 😞

I do not think that there is an option to remove it from the game entirely, I'm afraid :(, but I will definitely pass your feedback and suggestion forward to the team to see if trades can be taken into account as part of the income. However, I cannot guarantee that this may be implemented in future.

If there is anything else we may be able to assist you with, please let us know!
