Hello,

It all started a while ago with 2 nasty beeps on startup.
But for the moment in the shops I usually shop, the stock for a new cmos battery are sold out or overpriced.
Than the Anno History Collection came out.
Anno 1602, 1503 en the editors for the other Anno's works fine.
But I was unable to launch/install Anno 1701 and Anno 1404.
I tried everything. You can read this here: https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...hing-Anno-1701

Because I got a popup window saying that a mfc140.dll was missing, I did a scannow in the command prompt.
A lot of files where corrupted.

Also I did the test with Anno 1800 and verified the game files, again a lot of files missing.
But before everything was OK with Anno 1800.

Conclusion the problem must be on my side.

When I bought this PC, it had windows 8.1 installed and a free Windows 10 installation.
But Windows 10 wasn't out yet.
As soon Windows 10 came out, I did a clean install with the advanced options.
That was the only clean install I did. That along time ago.

So my questions:

After installing a new cmos battery and checking the ram modules what should I do?

A clean install Windows 10 or something else?

Cheers,

Finally after so much testing and searching the issue with the Anno History Collection Is solved.

I knew that the problem was on my side.

All the software and even windows are working correctly.

The problem was that my computer was to well protected.

The issue was situated in a small detail of my antivirus.

So the only thing I have to do is replace my cmos battery.
And maybe do a clean install of Windows 10 because it as been a while.
