I am experiencing an odd issue where no matter which save game I load, whether it be multiplayer, sandbox, by hitting continue at the title screen, manually locating and loading an old save game from weeks ago, or loading an auto save gameany game I reload results in the victory screen immediately appearing. This has been quite annoying to my friends in our multiplayer games. I can no longer be the host of our games, because if I am the host, I get an immediate victory screen the moment I load the game and they get a defeat screen.

Of course victory conditions have been set in all my games, whether it be a sandbox or multiplayer, but those victory conditions have not even come close to being met. And again, it is 100% of save games I load which are resulting in an immediate victory screen.

Say for example I play for one hour game and have 12 autosave games every 5 minutes. During my hour of play I got no notice of a victory. The next day when I come back and reload any of those saved games, each of them will result in the immediate victory screen. Even the first save game that is five minutes into the game, when my flag ship is still searching for its first island will result in a victory screen if loaded.

Can anybody please help with this? It is really harming my enjoyment of the game. I am happy to provide copies of any save games or codes or whatever other files you guys might need me to check. I have verified the integrity of the game files through Steam and that has changed nothing.

Sorry to hear this is happening AGupwhy7.

I understand you have verified the integrity of your Steam files.

Would it however be possible to try the steps in this support article including verifying the game files in Uplay?

If this doesn't help, could you please upload a few different save games for us to investigate?
You can either do that via our support system or by uploading the saves and sending me the links in a PM here.

Thank you
