Before the latest DLC, performance was not great, but not terrible also. After the last DLC, I can't even play on the lowest settings, because everything is like in slow motion.
It should be possible to play at least decent, in low settings, with an Intel i5, 20GB RAM, GTX 950M and SSD, but that is not the case anymore.
So, no more Anno 1800, for me. Either update the minimum game settings (as to not expect it to run anymore) or focus on improving performance. As for now, the performance, on a standard system, is utterly awful.

verified game files, increased swap file size, disabled any fancy video card stuff, activate AMD Fidelity, did not improved the game performance. not one bit.

Hey ThePufosenie, thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the issue you ran into there.

I understand you've done some troubleshooting steps already yet to no avail, however we would like to continue to tackle this matter until it's resolved, therefore just to double-check, have you had a chance to go through all of the steps mentioned in the following article yet?

If you have, then we will need to have a closer look at your configuration and see if we can identify what may be causing this. With that in mind, can I ask you to do the following:

1. Visit our support website
2. Once there, login to your account and then select 'Contact Customer Support'
3. You will be redirected to another page. Select meta-data for your issue, put in description and also highlight steps you
4. Attach your system files (MsInfo and DxDiag) which will allow us to have a better look at your hardware

Keep us updated and should you have any questions in the meantime, let us know!
