I think the DLC content of the current four seasons has fully displayed the world during the industrial Revolution. But, the part of the game that deals with Qing princesses has not been further expanded. Many Chinese players are looking forward to the Asian region map(Such as spices and tea from South Asia, porcelain and jade from East Asia). Hopefully, the devs will fill in the blanks for the next season's expansion. Perhaps these could supply demand for the T6 population of the old world.  🙂
The investor class has moved into skyscrapers, and if the T6 population (super-rich) is newly born, they can move into single-family villas. They have high requirements for living environment (such as natural environment) and quality of life (such as luxury goods need to be delivered to their door). They have their own private airships, they have an absolute monopoly on a certain industry (bonus), and they can even help you reduce the influence you need to acquire rival lands. Money is just a trivial number to them, and serving them well can make a difference in the face of the world.  (Some exaggerated imagination)

Hey @araceaehh

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. I will forward this to the game team for consideration for future games and updates.

I hope you continue to enjoy the game!

Also from me: Thank you for your suggestions 🙂 While we can understand some players would love to see the world expanded with e.g. an Asian-themed session, we currently have no plans to add any more regions to Anno 1800.

Should these plans change, we will of course let you know.

Cheers,
Thorlof

@araceaehh Creating a new region is a very high-effort project, requiring new islands, buildings, etc., this effort has to be carefully balanced with projected sales as well as availability of team members.
Additionally, as you already surmised, new content, especially new islands and regions, are having a huge impact on performance and hardware requirements. So there are also certain limits here since optimizations are a lot trickier in a game that is already live compared to the time before release.
