[2023] [Xbox] Building menu issues

@Ubi-Galaxy hi, I tried to post a question on the main forum, but there isn't a button or option so I'm coming here.
I just purchased Anno 1800 and after four hours have experienced a bug that doesn't allow you to cycle through buildings. For example, when building a wheat field I can hold R trigger and select bread. The window opens, but the directional pad will not select windmills or bakeries. It actually does nothing.
I did test the pad within the rest of the game and it works fine.
Other forums for the PC version stated this was a known issue, but I'm on xbox XS. I have restarted, power cycled the xbox and loaded previous saves where this wasn't a problem. No luck.
As this is a major issie for the game, can you provide options?
