I have similar problem. We both have installed Anno 1800 with season pass 1 and 2. When I invite him i have communicate "Invite not sent. Ubisoft Connect was unable to send your invitation.". We reinstalled Ubisoft Connect and Anno but it still not working. Antivirus and Windows Defender are shut down.

Only way to start game together is:
-host open game and set game as public
-second player open game, then he go to Ubisoft Connect and join to game.

But when I try to read saved game, game is "not public" - I can't change it and second player can't join to the game.

We use internet from the same router. We also tried connect with wifi from mobile phone, but problem has not been solved.
