Then let me help you understand- the connectivity issue should not be related to this week's Game Update, as evident by the fact that other games besides Anno 1800 are also affected. This is being worked on, but we don't have an ETA to when it will all work again to share.

We have just received an update from the responsible team, the multiplayer should be working again.
