I know this has been mentioned elsewhere but after watching Anno Union yesterday I just want to add my voice to this. I've passed on both DLCs, even when they were heavily discounted, as I find that I don't really have time to enjoy some of the content already in the game. Too busy keeping all the plates spinning. I just play this for relaxation, not for some competitive or achievement kicks, so while I'm trying to optimise routes or layouts or multiplier buildings (e.g. trade unions), for example, I get interrupted several times by minor annoyances. So I have no interest in adding to the number of plates (e.g. adding sessions or even more quests to leave unquested). An active pause would solve this problem or at least a half speed or quarter speed option if that's not technically possible.
Also, and perhaps I don't understand this option properly, but I know I can switch off the newspaper guy but when I did it seems that he disappears entirely without any chance of countering the penalties. I would just like to be alerted visually to the need to respond with propaganda without having to listen to three pieces of repetitive dialogue (once announcing the paper issue, once when entering the newspaper interface and finally when accepting changes).
