Bought the game a couple days ago and had this bug happen twice already. Around mid game I get a UI popup saying Defeated. Then the game tells me it is unloading my save. Also, the title screen no longer shows the Ubisoft links (to info on DLCs and the Ubisoft connect links). Instead i get a red triangle in a white box vs the usual graphics. My save is still there but my frames drops 19 fps (41 fps) randomly from my usual 60 fps.
Bug is not connected to anything noticeable other than i had either completed the Land of Lions DLC or was between the expedition story choices quest. Both times it happened I was currently in my Old World game world when the UI randomly bugged out. It seems to be doing something else behind the scenes in code. I am not sure about from my end. Since the game then randomly lags more than my normal 60 fps.

My amd gpu driver is current
I ended up deleting both games and restarted a new game each time. This will be my third attempt to avoid this bug. Going to skip the Land of the Lions DLC this time. But felt the game devs should also know about this issue and investigate. Since it has happened twice in a row hindering game immersion.
