Hey St0hlinger,

Welcome to the Forums, I'm sorry to hear you had issues launching the game via Epic!

In future, you shouldn't need a key to launch a title via Epic, including Free Weekend events as this is automatically bound to your account.

If you encounter this again through any Epic titles, please try the following;
Navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher cache folder, by default located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache

Please note that the Uplay client must be fully shut down at this point and not running in the background.

Open the cache folder and move the "ownership" folder to a safe location.

Once you have backed up that folder, delete the "cache" folder.

After deleting the cache folder, please verify the game files within Epic:

After doing this, please try to launch the game again

Feel free to get back in touch if the issue isn't resolved after attempting these steps, as well as if there's anything else we can help with!
