I currently have 20 Scholar Residences constructed on Bright Sands (post-campaign) in the Old World. I had previously researched Campus Extension Permits up to the maximum my RP would allow (13,000 max RP, about 65 more residences available), but had not yet constructed them. The current cost of the next Campus Extension Permit is 14,000 RP, which is more than my current maximum.

At some point within the last few days (I can't confirm this happened with the release of Seasons of Change, but certainly in the last week or so), the number of available Scholar Residences in the build menu has been reset to zero. The option reads "Major Discovery required."

This change also appears to be retroactive through all save files. I have gone as far back as save files from 4/4/22 (after I constructed the Research Institute, but before constructing any Scholar Residences) and loaded random saves (without activating Seasons of Change) moving forward in time. In all cases, the number of Scholar Residences available for construction is zero, but the cost for the next Campus Extension Permit in the Research Institute goes up as the save files become more recent, indicating that research completion was recorded, but the number of available residences was reset.

When I loaded a save with a Campus Extension Permit currently researching and allowed the research to complete, the number of available residences correctly increased from 0 to 5, though there still should have been many more based on the RP cost for the next Campus Extension Permit. After manually saving and reloading, the number of available residences was still 5, so this may have affected only currently-existing save files at the time it occurred.

Hello @musicmage4114 thank you for reporting this change in your to save files, since the update and thank you for providing one of your affected autosave files.

I have seen something similar reported in the past after a previous update, where I believe a certain requirement had been reset to zero, on a player's save game and affected all their previous save files.

I will report this new issue to our dev and QA team along with your save file. We will do our best to update you on this when these teams have been able to investigate this on your save file also, thank you for the bug report!
