[2023] [Bug?] Chartered Company Achievement (Anno 1800)

Hello,

I've been going for the chartered company achievement in my playthrough and I seem to have met the requirements, but the achievement didn't unlock for me.

I reached the investor tier without having used any trade routes other than charter routes and that didn't seem to do the trick.

There was talk elsewhere of other, hidden requirements, such as making investors happy or having 3,000 engineers and building a bank, but neither of those unlocked the achievement for me either.

I'm not the quickest player and it did take me quite a long time at this point, so I would appreciate any help that I can get.

Apologies for the delay in our reply.

Thank you both to @Asterix201252 and @Mevelios for your input on this topic, I appreciate the advice and help you've offered here.

As the conditions to qualify for this achievement are quite tricky, I agree that the possible cause for your problem could be the accidental click on the trade route button.

If you haven't already tried, I definitely recommend verifying your game files, just in case these might've impacted this as well.

To test the theory, you could also possibly try to reload a previous save (from before you clicked the trade route button), to see if you can get the achievement successfully thereafter?

Because we are not the development team, I can't unfortunately confirm or deny that the accidental click on the trade route button is the issue for definite. Although we've not heard of this being a bug, and usually people manage to gain the achievement after some testing on the requirement parts before they're able to get it.
